Francis Albert “Frank” Sinatra (Dec 12, 1915 – May 14, 1998) was an American singer, actor, and producer who was one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century. In recognition of the anniversary of Frank Sinatra’s passing, we invite you to join The Joey Thomas Big Band for a Sinatra Centennial Salute! on Friday, May 13th at the Capital Region’s most intimate listening room at The Van Dyck.

Over the last century, Frank Sinatra’s music has been integrated into the scores of many lives, weaving generations together through his passion and artistic originality. Featuring vocalist Bob Father, The Joey Thomas Big Band’s Sinatra Centennial Salute embraces the man and the music that has transcended several eras and changed us all.

Sinatra’s body of work is evidence of his passion to preserve America’s greatest songs for later generations. Entering its 24th year, it is with the same passion and pure joy of playing that The Joey Thomas Big Band dedicates itself to the perpetuation of big band music, swing dancing, and the Great American Songbook.
