Bob Father - Vocalist
Albany native Bob Father, a Graduate of Albany High School class of 1977, has been a part of the professional Music scene since 1972. Bob plays the three tier theatre Organ, the piano, and the Trumpet. For many years he accompanied himself using two keyboards, midi pedals, a drum machine and a sound system.
Bob has played in many capital area clubs including the Crooked Lake Hotel, Cordial Greens Country club, Burden Lake Country Club, Schuyler Meadows Country Club, The Greens at Saratoga, Herbert's Banquet House, Albany Marriott Hotel, Pine Brooks Golf Club, and too many other places to mention. Bob has performed at the Troy Music Hall and has been the featured singer for the Bud Bryer Big Band, the Yankee Doodle Band, and is currently the featured male vocalist with
The Joey Thomas Big Band.
Bob shares Joey's passion for Big Band Music. He also shares the Dream that The Joey Thomas Big Band will take it's place among the finest Big Bands anywhere on the planet.
