Scott has a Masters' Degree and a Bachelors' Degree in music education from The Crane School of Music, SUNY@Potsdam.
Scott is currently teaching music at Columbia High School in East Green Bush, New York. Scott is director of two concert bands and is also the orchestra director for the high school's musicals. The past ten years Scott taught at Goff Middle School in East Greenbush where he was director of concert band, jazz band and pit orchestra director for the musicals.
Scott has been performing with the Joey Thomas Big Band for the past five years. Scott continues to play ceremonial trumpet for weddings in the capital region.
Scott plays second trumpet. Scott is also our written solo specialist.
