Karl Braun - 4th Trombone

Karl earned a Bachelor of Music degree in trombone performance, from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

A few of the musical groups Karl has Performed with over the years are: the Carnegie Arts Center Brass Choir, Covington KY; Blue Ash Symphony Orchestra, Blue Ash OH; Hilton Head Orchestra, Hilton Head SC; Savannah Symphony Orchestra, Savannah GA; Ken James Band, Savannah GA, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus; and most recently, (of course) The Joey Thomas Big Band, Capital Region NY.

Karl has been a member of the JTBB since 1995 and plays fourth chair bass trombone. Originally when Karl joined the band, he played third trombone.
