Kristina Johnson - Lead Alto

Kristina Johnson has a BA of Music from the University of California at Santa Cruz, a BS in Education from SUNY@Oneonta (valedictorian of class), and is working on a MA in Music Education at the College of Saint Rose (Albany, NY). She is currently directing the jazz band, choir and small ensembles and teaching music history at SUNY@Cobleskill College.

Performing with the Joey Thomas Big Band, Panther Creek and Big Fish Wedding Band, has Performed with Sam Whedon's Band, The Rubber Band, Sri-Da Honky and numerous other bands.

She has performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival, All That Jazz at Disneyland and toured through Europe with USC Jazz Ensemble and studied at Interlocken Music School.

Kristina plays lead alto saxophone as well as flute and clarinet.
