Pete Sweeney - Drums

Pete Sweeney has been a full-time professional musician since 1983. He has studied with Dave Calarco and the great Joe Morello for 7 years. He has recorded and performed with many great musicians in the rock, blues, and jazz idioms. Pete Has toured the US and Canada with Irish singing legend Tony Kenny, guitar virtuoso Matt Smith, and Dan Toler.

In addition to performing, Pete Sweeney is also an active educator teaching privately at the prestigious National Guitar Workshop for the last 10 years. He has written four highly acclaimed instructional books for Alfred publishing and performed on his own instructional DVD. Pete is currently working on a new DVD and three part book series to debut at the Winter NAMM show 2004.
